On May 13, solemn events dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the State Emblem and the National Flag of the Republic of Belarus took place on the site of the 11th Mechanized Brigade in Slonim.
The participants of the celebration were congratulated by the chairman of the Slonimsky District Council of Deputies Oleg Targonsky. He noted that the State Emblem and the Flag are established attributes of statehood, in which the historical Slavonic roots of the Belarusian people are displayed. They represent the fundamental idea of ??the equality of all citizens of the republic irrespective of social and religious affiliation, are widely applied in everyday life of society, in diplomatic relations of the states.
– We proudly celebrate the Day of the State Emblem and the National Flag of the Republic of Belarus, as a symbol of the patriotic union of citizens, the desire of the people to live in peace and harmony, and through decent work creating the foundation of the well-being of our state. The first secretary of the district committee of the public association “Belarusian Republican Youth Union” Tatyana Anatolyevna Kuzmich also joined the congratulations.
On the solemn day for the country, Little Octobrists from the secondary school No. 3 joined the ranks of the Belarusian Republican Pioneer Organization. The event honorable guests have tied ties to young pioneers.
At the end of the celebration the soldiers of the garrison marched in the front parade.
